Structural Glass Floors
Why DAG Inter Ltd?
Using structural glass floors as an external roof light or an internal applications creates space and light. DAG Inter was contracted to supply and install a 3m x 4m glass floor roof light that created light and space to the basement level area. We used structural steelwork with anchor bolts fixed into the slab and glass floor structural glass fins to support the main walk on glass floor. We used a 4 ply SGP glass with a ceramic anti slip frit to the outside surface . The dots covered 50% of the glass to ensure the maximum safety from an antislip but also to allow good light transmissions. These are the best type structural glass floors. You can use these finishes in all seasons, even in wet conditions. But please always be careful when running on glass finishes or having high heels as the surface can feel smooth. All of projects come with an after care programme how to maintain and clean the glass panels.
Why toughened laminated Structural Glass Floors?
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), between its two or more layers of glass. It is very safe and secure with testing results available upon request.
